In loving memory of our Dad, Michael J. Meehan, R.I.P. who left this earth on August 12, 2005 at the age of 69 after a year-long battle with lung cancer. Michael was Damian's proud father and the Foundation President. In 2002, after Damian's untimely passing in the World Trade Center tragedy, Dad had the vision to create an organization that would commemorate his young son's memory and gentle image while providing educational funds to children in need. These scholarships are a reflection of Damian's generosity and willingness to help others. Ultimately, Damian's remembrance will enable many young students to fulfill their dreams.

We all miss our Dad terribly but will continue in his mission. We are so grateful for having the most wonderful father and we know that he will continue to guide us and watch over us from heaven. Our Dad was truly a legend in his own time.......and legends never really die. They live on in the memory and hearts of those who love them.
